Since 1999, LIVE has independently certified the sustainable practices of winegrowers in the Pacific Northwest, using the latest in university research and internationally accredited standards. We provide regional education to preserve the human and natural resources of the wine industry.
LIVE’s certification programs are based on international standards of Integrated Production (IP). Throughout the year, highly skilled viticulturalists, winemakers, university researchers, and environmental partners meet to build regional input into these standards.
LIVE Certification Marks
LIVE certification marks are applied using three different criteria.
The first mark (left) is for wines made in a LIVE-certified winery from at least 97% fruit that meets our vineyard certification requirements.
The second mark (center) is for wines made in a LIVE-certified winery from at least 97% fruit that meets our vineyard certification requirements.
The third mark is the general LIVE certification mark that is used for websites, and other marketing materials. It is not meant to be used on bottle labels.
